Wellesley Housing Authority - Floor Covering Annual Contract -
The WELLESLEY HOUSING AUTHORITY invites electronic bids from qualified contractors for Annual Floor Covering Services at Authority-owned properties located throughout Wellesley, Massachusetts.
The work includes, but is not limited to, on-call and as-needed carpet installation and replacement, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), vinyl composition tile (VCT), sheet vinyl installation, cove base installation, flooring demolition and disposal, subfloor preparation, underlayment work, and related flooring services at public housing developments.
The contract term shall be from August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027, with two optional one-year renewals at the sole discretion of the Wellesley Housing Authority.
A non-mandatory pre-bid walkthrough/site visit will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Wellesley Housing Authority, 109 Barton Road, Wellesley, MA 02481.
Bid documents will be available beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM and may be obtained from the Wellesley Housing Authority website, by email request to James@WellesleyHousing.org, or in person at the Authority office located at 109 Barton Road, Wellesley, MA 02481.
THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARDCOPY BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Electronic bids must be submitted to James@WellesleyHousing.org no later than Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
Electronic bids shall clearly identify:

General bids will be publicly opened on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM, forthwith.
All bids are subject to applicable Massachusetts public bidding laws, including M.G.L. c.149, and prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26–27H inclusive.
