SIGNIFICANT NONCOMPLIANCE LEGAL NOTICE
To comply with 40 CFR Part 403.8(f)(2)(viii) and the Codified Ordinances of Summit County, Ohio, Chapter 925.55 (2008), the County of Summit is hereby providing a list of Industrial Users (IU) that were in a state of significant noncompliance (SNC) with applicable wastewater pretreatment standards during the period from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. Significant noncompliance is defined as chronic violation of wastewater discharge limits, technical review criteria (TRC) violations, failure to meet compliance schedule milestones or any other violation that will or has already affected the operation of the County's industrial pretreatment program. The following Industrial Users were in Significant Noncompliance during the 2025 calendar year:
Reliable Onsite Services, Industrial User No. 36006
Reliable Onsite Services is in Significant Noncompliance for failure to maintain wastewater pretreatment equipment in functional condition. The company's wastewater discharge meter broke down and resulted in significant non-compliance of reporting requirements due to lack of data collection for discharge volume for multiple months in 2024. The company brought their equipment into functional order during the 4th quarter of 2024.
This notice was prepared by the Industrial Pretreatment Section of the Operations Division of the Summit County Department of Sanitary Sewer Services located at 1180 South Main Street #201, Akron, Ohio 44301-1254.
