Minutes of the Roland City Council Budget Meeting Wednesday, January 28, 2026 Note: The following are unofficial until they are approved by the City Council at the next council meeting. The Roland City Council met for a budget meeting on Wednesday January 28, 2026. The meeting was held at 6:00 pm at Roland City Hall with Mayor Bower presiding. Council Members Present: Jonathan Keply, Aaron Burres, Doug Sargent, Curtis Kentner. Council Member Absent: Riley Larson. Staff Present: City Clerk Mellisa Mattingly. There was 1 visitor from the public. A motion was made by Burres and seconded by Kentner to approve the consent agenda for this meeting which included Agenda for January 28, 2026. All in Favor. Motion Carried. Fire Chief Jeff Larson and Pat Murphy went over the Fire and Roland Response Team expenses with Mayor and Council. Clerk Mattingly went over her expenses with Mayor and Council for the general fund. Mayor and Council Reports/Comments: None. Sargent moved for the adjournment of the meeting at 7:54 pm seconded by Kentner. All in Favor. Motion Carried. The next regular meeting will be Wednesday February 4, 2026, at 6:00 pm at Roland City Hall. The next budget meeting will be Wednesday February 11, 2026, at 6:00 pm at Roland City Hall.
