#12313665 Notice of Amendments to Ordinance   Notice of Amendment of to Chapter 45, Zoning Ordinance of the Dallas County Code of Ordinances.   On the 5th day of May, 2026, following prior approved public readings as prescribed by law, the Dallas County Board of Supervisors adopted amendments to Chapter 45 Zoning Ordinance of Dallas County Iowa. The chapter is amended to align the Board of Adjustment's powers with Iowa House File 652. This ordinance establishes a "practical difficulties" standard for evaluating area, dimensional, and numerical variances, ensuring local zoning decisions remain legally defensible under state law.
