MINUTES- Regular Meeting of the Collins City Council 1. CALL TO ORDER- Collins City Council met on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 7pm at the Collins Area Community Center, 219 Main Street 2. ROLL CALL- Mayor Pro-Tem Dawnell Kennedy asked for Roll Call. Council Members present: Dawnell Kennedy, Jerry Courter, Stephanie Coughenour, Stephanie Smith. FEBRUARY SHERIFF'S REPORT- Deputy Thompson gave an update on the incident that took place with a vehicle doing donuts and tearing up the city property near the city burn pile. He has also gotten several complaints from citizens on Hwy 65 regarding semis speeding and jake brakes. He is talking to the Story County Attorney about how to best enforce the code.
