Minutes of the Ames Community School District Board of Directors IASB Metro Boards Regional Workshop of April 29, 2026 Attendees. Voting Members: Pres. Kelly Winfrey, VP Sabrina Shields-Cook, Allen Bierbaum, Angie DeWaard, Aaron Rodriguez and Jennifer Tipton. Non-Voting Members: Scott Grimes, Sherri Ruzek and Dr. Jeff Hawkins. IASB Metro Boards Regional Workshop. The workshop was called to order at 5:32 pm at The Stadium Clubhouse at Northview Middle School, 1302 N. Ankeny Blvd., in Ankeny. School boards in attendance were from Ames, Ankeny, Dallas Center-Grimes, Des Moines, Johnston, Southeast Polk, Urbandale, Waukee and West Des Moines. The Board participated in the workshop, in collaboration with the metro school boards hosted by the Iowa Association of School Boards. The workshop adjourned at 7:55 pm.
