NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, PROPOSED FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE HIGHWAY 141 WATER MAIN EXTENSION FOR THE CITY OF GRANGER, IOWA At 7:00 P.M. on the 8th day of April, 2026, the City Council of the City of Granger Iowa will, in the Granger Community Center, 2200 Walnut Street, Granger Iowa, hold a hearing and said Council proposes to adopt plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the Highway 141 Water Main Extension project. The description of the project is as follows: HIGHWAY 141 WATER MAIN EXTENSION Construct Highway 141 Water Main Extension including all labor, materials and equipment necessary for approximately 1,793 linear feet of 12" water main installed in open cut, 200 linear feet of 12" water main directionally bored, 320 linear feet of 12" water main trenchless in casing pipe, hydrants, valves, excavation, backfill, traffic control, surface restoration and miscellaneous associates work, including cleanup. The project is located along Highway 141 east of Highway 17 in the City of Granger, Iowa. At said hearing, the City Council will consider the plans, specifications, proposed form of contract, and total estimated cost for the project, the same now being on file in the office of the City Clerk, reference to which is made for a more detailed and complete description of the proposed improvements, and at said time and place the said Council will receive and consider objections to said plans, specifications, estimate of cost and form of contract made by any interested party.
