Notice of Public Hearing Before the Dallas Center City Council A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. at the Dallas Center Council Chambers (above City Hall at 1502 Walnut Street, Dallas Center, Iowa 50063). The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comments concerning the City applying for Community Development Block Grant funds from the Iowa Economic Development Authority for a Commercial Facades Grant. Items to be discussed are the proposed project and activities, costs, location and the amount of funds required to complete the project. Questions concerning this project should be directed to Lauren Mortensen at Region XII COG, (712) 792-9914. Persons with special needs or translation services should make this request to the City Clerk no later than 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Written comments may be submitted to the Dallas Center City Council, 1502 Walnut Street, Dallas Center, Iowa 50063 or to Lauren Mortensen at lmortensen@region12cog.org, no later than noon July 14, 2026.
