ORDINANCE NO. 3189 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 155, BUILDING CODES AND REGULATIONS, WAUKEE MUNCIPAL CODE, BY REPEALING THE CURRENT CHAPTER IN ITS ENTIRETY AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF CHAPTER 155, BUILDING CODES AND REGULATIONS

ORDINANCE NO. 3189 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 155, BUILDING CODES AND REGULATIONS, WAUKEE MUNCIPAL CODE, BY REPEALING THE CURRENT CHAPTER IN ITS ENTIRETY AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF CHAPTER 155, BUILDING CODES AND REGULATIONS BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee: Section 1. Waukee Municipal Code Chapter 155, Building Codes and Regulations, should be and the same is hereby repealed and enacted in lieu thereof: 155.01 Administrative Provisions 155.02 ADOPTION OF THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions 155.03 ADOPTION OF THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions 155.04 ADOPTION OF THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL EXISTING BUILDING CODE with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions 155.05 ADOPTION OF THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions 155.06 ADOPTION OF THE 2024 UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions 155.07 ADOPTION OF THE 2023 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions 155.08 ADOPTION OF THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions 155.09 ADOPTION OF THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions 155.10 ADOPTION OF THE 2012 INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions 155.11 ADOPTION OF THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions 155.12 Adoption of the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code with amendments, modifications, additions and deletions This is an ordinance summary. Hickman Road, and is available for public inspection during the regular business hours of 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Section 2. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
