SECTION 00100 ADVERTISEMENT OR INVITATION TO BID CITY OF PINEVILLE   LOT 4 ASBESTOS ABATEMENT & DEMOLITION AND CLEARANCE OF DILAPIDATED AND BLIGHTED STRUCTURES CASE NO. 2024-020 – 1703 Melrose Street CASE NO. 2024-042 – 307 Baker Street CASE NO. 2024-044 – 200 Wadley Street   The CITY OF PINEVILLE is soliciting bids for ASBESTOS ABATEMENT & DEMOLITION AND CLEARANCE OF DILAPIDATED AND BLIGHTED STRUCTURES, for the structure addresses noted above.   Bids will be received by the CITY OF PINEVILLE at the Mayor’s Conference Room, 910 Main Street, Pineville, Louisiana 71360, until 2:00 P.M. (Central Time), on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders may bid on one site, multiple sites, or all sites. The City reserves the right to award contracts in its best interests; being multiple contracts for specific sites or a single contract for all sites. Any bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.   The Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Agreement Between Owner and Contractor, Specifications, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following location: PAN AMERICAN ENGINEERS, LLC (Design Professional) 1717 JACKSON STREET ALEXANDRIA, LOUISIANA 71301 (318) 473-2100   The project scope at each site consists of the abatement of identified asbestos containing materials and disposal at LDEQ permitted Type I or Type II landfill; demolition, site clearance, and disposal of other structural components (with associated ancillary and site improvements) that is severely dilapidated and creating blight conditions in the community. All structures identified for demolition and clearance under this elimination of blight effort have been condemned under the processes of L.R.S.33:4765.   Copies of the bidding documents shall be obtained at the office of Pan American Engineers, LLC upon deposit of $100.00 for each set of documents; or from the electronic bid submittal option as noted in the advertisement. The deposit on the first set of documents furnished to bonafide prime bidders will be fully refunded upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids. On other sets of documents furnished to bidders, the deposit less actual cost of reproduction will be refunded upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids.
