Town of Boyce Council Meeting May 14, 2026 11:00 A.M.   A Council Meeting of the Town Council was held at Town Hall on Thursday May 14, 2026 with the following members present: Mayor Kelvin McCoy, Alderman: Donna Lofton, Peggy Brew, Lucretia McCoy Price, Leslie Aaron, and Mary Fisher. Mayor McCoy called the meeting to order at 11:00 A.M. Town Clerk called roll and determine a stated a quorum was present. Pledge of Allegiance was led by all. Mayor McCoy gave the Invocation. Mayor McCoy called for any person to identify themselves and the agenda items on which they wish to comment in accordance with Act 850 of 2010. Motion by Alderman Leslie Aaron and seconded by Donna Lofton to Introduce the Proposed General Fund Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. Mayor McCoy called for a roll call vote and the results were as followed: Alderman Donna Lofton, yes; Peggy Brew, yes; Lucretia McCoy Price, yes; Leslie Aaron, yes; and Mary Fisher, yes; MOTION PASS. Motion by Alderman Lucretia McCoy Price and seconded by Leslie Aaron to Introduce the Proposed Half -Cent Sales Tax Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. Mayor McCoy called for a roll call vote and the results were as followed: Alderman Donna Lofton yes; Peggy Brew, yes; Lucretia McCoy Price, yes; Leslie Aaron, yes; and Mary Fisher, yes; MOTION PASS. Motion by Alderman Leslie Aaron and seconded by Lucretia McCoy Price to adjourn.
