Prequalification Notice
Blum Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by the City of Asheville and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for the Asheville Municipal Building.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project consists of the demolition and replacement of an elevated apparatus bay slab. Offices and rooms located below the slab will be demolished to facilitate the slab replacement. The reconstruction of these spaces is included in project scope. A portion of the building will remain occupied; occupant located within construction area will need a new office built out prior to start of slab demolition. This build out is included in project scope.

Examples of Trade Partner Support include quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
