Unit Bid for Mountain Housing Opportunities, Inc. Residential Subcontractors: MHO / Mountain Housing Opportunities, Inc. invites skilled subcontractors interested in submitting bids for MHO's annual "Unit Bid" process for our Emergency Home Repair Program. All work will be done in Buncombe County. Contracts will be awarded using unit pricing that will enable subcontractors to participate in upcoming projects for the following year. We are awarding the unit bid to the top two bidders in each trade. Should the first-place winner not be able to carry out a job in a timely manner the job may be awarded to the second-place bidder. The following trades are being sought, plumbing, electrical, general carpentry and roofing. General Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance are required. You should be trained in lead paint safe work practices as they pertain to the RRP rules.
