FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP SEWERAGE AUTHORITY
NOTICE REGARDING PROPOSED ADJUSTMENT TO CONNECTION FEE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Franklin Township Sewerage Authority (“the Authority”) shall hold a public hearing on a proposed adjustment to its sewer connection fee for the upcoming fiscal year of June 1, 2025 through May 31, 2026 on October 7, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. The Authority will conduct an Electronic/Audio Public Meeting in lieu of an in-person Public Meeting. Participants shall use the same log-in features to access this Hearing as it would to view the overall meeting. Members of the public may access the meeting and call in any questions or comment during the portion of the meeting reserved for public comments. The Authority shall provide evidence at the hearing showing that the proposed adjustment is necessary and reasonable and shall provide the opportunity for cross-examination of such evidence. A transcript of the hearing shall be made and a copy thereof shall be available upon request to any interested party upon payment of a reasonable fee.
In calculating the connection fee, the Authority has complied with the requirements set forth in N.J.S.A. 40:14A-8.
Any person wishing to comment on the evidence pertaining to the proposed connection fee shall be entitled to be heard at the hearing.
