BOROUGH OF SOMERVILLE INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2770-25-0818   NOTICE   Notice is hereby given that the following ordinance is known as Ordinance No. 2770 AMENDING CHAPTER 102 ARTICLE VI ENTITLED PERMITS AND ENFORCEMENT, SECTION 28 ENTITLED BUILDING PERMITS, CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY, ZONING PERMITS AND SIGN PERMITS, SPECIFICALLY SECTION B, ENTITLED ZONING PERMITS SUB SECTIONS (A) AND SUBSECTIONS (B) TO SUBSECTION (2) ADDRESSING CONVERSION OF A TWO FAMILY/DUPLEX, MULTI FAMILY OR PROFESSIONAL OFFICE IN THE R-1, R-2, PO-R DISTRICTS TO A SINGLE FAMILY AND CONVERSION OF GROUP HOMES TO A SINGLE FAMILY OR TWO FAMILY DWELLING having been introduced and passed on first reading by the Borough Council of the Borough of Somerville, County of Somerset, at its regular meeting of the Borough Council, on Monday, August 18, 2025 and will be considered for final passage and adoption immediately after a public hearing at a meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Somerville Civic Center, located at 24 Robeson Street, Somerville, New Jersey, when and where or at such time and place to which said meeting may be adjourned, all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning said ordinance.
