MCDO PUBLIC NOTICE TO POTENTIAL CANDIDATES PUBLIC NOTICE The Middlesex County Democratic Organization (MCDO), in accordance with the MCDO Constitution and Bylaws, solicits for consideration any registered Democrat intending to run with the "Middlesex County Democratic Organization" slogan in the following 2026 primary elections: United States Congress (6th Congressional District)United States Congress (12th Congressional District)County SurrogateCounty Commissioner Interested candidates must submit all required documents to the County Party by or before 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026. The documents to be submitted are outlined in the MCDO Constitution and can be accessed on the homepage of the MCDO website (www.mcdonj.org). Candidates may submit all relevant information via email to chair@mcdonj.org. Candidates running for United States Senate who seek the support of the Middlesex County Democratic Party will be allowed to address County Committee Members at the convention. Candidates should email the required documents to chair@mcdonj.org by or before 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, to qualify to participate in the convention. The Middlesex County Democratic Organization (MCDO) will hold its annual nominating convention on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
