PUBLIC NOTICE
Please take notice that Speed Gas Moorestown LLC ("Applicant") has filed an application for development with the Moorestown Township Planning Board ("Board") regarding real property located at 225 Chester Avenue and designated as block 4402, lot 1 on the municipal tax map. The property is currently improved with an affordable tires and auto repair shop and gas station. The Applicant seeks minor site plan approval to install a canopy with two (2) walls for tire storage in the rear of the property, as well as add a 1,000-gallon propane tank so that customers will be able to refill portable propane tanks.
The Applicant does not require any known variances in connection with this application.
The Applicant also requests any variances, submission waivers, exceptions, design waivers, de minimis exceptions, interpretations, modifications of conditions of prior approvals, continuation of any preexisting non-conforming conditions, conditional use approval, other approvals reflected on the plans (as same may be further amended or revised from time to time without further notice) as may be determined to be necessary during the review and processing of the application by the Board and its professional staff, and permits requested or required by the Board at the public hearing.
This application shall be considered by the Board at a public hearing on March 5, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in-person at the Moorestown Town Hall, 111 West Second Street, Council Chambers, Moorestown, New Jersey, at which time you may appear either in person or through an attorney and present any objection that you may have to the granting of this application. A copy of the application and supporting documentation is on file in the Board's offices located at 111 West Second Street, Council Chambers, Moorestown, New Jersey and is available for public inspection during regular business days and hours. It is recommended that any interested party contact the Land Use Administrator, Patty Muscella, either by telephone at (856) 914-3022 or by e-mail at pmuscella@moorestown.nj.us regarding questions that you may have about this application. The application may be adjourned to another date without further notice to you and you are advised to contact the Board office in order to confirm the date and time of the hearing.
