LEGAL NOTICE SUNY Broome Community College BID NO: 2026-09 SUNY Broome Community College is seeking bids from qualified prime bidders for; General Construction. The Bidders shall provide labor, materials, equipment and associated costs to complete all work necessary on the project. The project includes construction of an asphalt parking lot with associated concrete curbing, sidewalks, sidewalk ramps, and storm sewer system on the SUNY Broome Campus. Bids will be received in the Purchasing Office, Room 120, Campus Services building, SUNY Broome Community College, PO Box 1017, Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13902-1017, Telephone number (607) 778-5196, until May 6, 2026 at 2:00 pm local time. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:15 pm in the Purchasing Office, Room 120, Campus Services building. SUNY Broome Community College BID NO: 2026-09 Deposit Required: Each Proposal must be made upon the forms provided by the College and shall be accompanied by a deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Said Deposit shall be made payable to the SUNY Broome Treasurer, shall be considered a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the Contract with the County if it is awarded to him/her. Minimum Wage Rates shall be as determined by the New York State Department of Labor. If the bid price for this project exceeds $100,000, then the Broome County Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) subcontracting goal is 3.5%, and the EEO Minority Hiring Goal is 5.0% in accordance with the programs detailed in the bid documents. Bidding Documents will be officially distributed through the Engineer's online plan room at www.cplteamplanroom.com. Copies from any other source are not considered official copies. Attention of bidders is called to the "Information for Bidders" in the Proposal, Specifications and Contract Agreements. One (1) original, one (1) duplicate and one (1) electronic copy on usb drive of the Contract. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the words "SUNY Broome Community College office of Purchasing", the Project Title and BID Number, and the Contractor's name and address plainly printed on the outside. The Bid Number should be placed on the upper left corner of the envelope. Each bid must be in a separate envelope. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Deposit of Cash, Certified Check or Bid Bond, payable to SUNY Broome Treasurer, in the amount specified by this advertisement. The retention and disposal of such Cash, Certified Check or Bid Bond, by the County, shall conform to Article 5A, Section 105 of the General Municipal Law, as amended. The successful Contractor will be required to execute the Contract and comply, in all respects, with Article 5A, Section 105 of the General Municipal Law, as amended.
