NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION FOR ORDER OF DISSOLUTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that by order of Superior Court of the State of Washington for Kitsap County entered on the 26th day of June, 2026 in Cause No. 26-2-01394-18, a public hearing will be held on July 24, 2026, at 9:00am at the Kitsap County Superior Court on the Petition for Order of Dissolution filed by Kitsap County Sewer District No. 7. The Board of Commissioner of Kitsap County Sewer District No. 7 (the "District") has approved the dissolution of the District. The District is a waste-water district which provides sewer and wastewater services to a community located in southern Bainbridge Island, Washington. The District's assets were previously disposed of pursuant to an Asset Disposition Agreement with Public Utility District No. 1 of Kitsap County ("KPUD"), which was approved by the Superior Court of the State of Washington for Kitsap County in Cause No. 25-2-01991-18. Following approval of the Asset Disposition Agreement by the Court, all assets of the District were transferred, and KPUD assumed service to the District's customers. Public hearing and court approval of the proposed dissolution is required pursuant to Chapter 53.48 RCW. The public is invited to attend and/or participate in the public hearing in person (or remotely).
