Clingman, Esquire, 1813 Marion Street, Columbia SC 29201, was appointed Guardian ad Litem, her appointment to become absolute twenty (20) days after the service of the Summons. NOTICE OF HEARING TO DETERMINE HEIRS-AT-LAW TO THE RESPONDENTS ABOVE-NAMED: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a hearing has been scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2025, at 10:30am at the Jasper County Probate Court, 306 3rd Ave, Ridgeland, SC 29936, for the purpose of determining heirs-at-law of Ida Bell Maxwell. This action was commenced by Petitioner on July 23, 2025, at the Jasper County Probate Court to have the Probate Court declare that the Estate of Harold Lee Greene, Joseph Brownlee Jr., Vernie Brownlee-Morris AKA Vernice Morris, Josephine Teresa Brownlee-Hines, Rebecca Maxwell Young, Joan Maxwell Heyward AKA Joanne Maxwell Heyward, Georgetta Maxwell Brinson, and Frances Maxwell Chalmers are the sole heirs-at-law of Ida Bell Maxwell upon her death on September 20, 2007. Any objections to the Petitioner's right to commence this action, as one of the current owners of the real property that was owned by Ida Bell Maxwell at the time of her death, or to Petitioner's prayer for relief declaring the aforementioned persons to have been the sole heirs-at-law of Ida Bell Maxwell must be filed with the Jasper County Probate Court before Monday, November 24, 2025, or advanced in person at the scheduled hearing.
