Notice of Public Hearing
The Ellettsville Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on the 7th day of May, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Ellettsville Town Hall located at 1150 W. Guy McCown Drive, Ellettsville to consider a petition by Farris Storage, Inc., Case Number PC 26-15, for consideration of a zoning map amendment to Residential 2 for 5010 N. Lakeview Drive (2.03 acres), Parcel Nos. 53-04-14-200-073.000-013 (Tract 1) and 53-04-14-200-071.000-013 (Tract 2). The subject parcel is more fully described herein as:
TRACT 1:
A part of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section Fourteen (14), Township Nine (9) North, Range Two (2) West, in Monroe County, Indiana, bounded and described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point that is Four Hundred Eighty and Eighty-three Hundredths (480.83) feet East and One Hundred Eighty-two and Twenty-five Hundredths {182.25) feet South of the Northwest corner of the said quarter quarter and in the existing centerline of a road known as Lake View Drive; thence running South Seven (7) degrees West over and along the existing centerline of the said Lake View Drive for a distance of One Hundred (100) feet; thence running South Eighty-eight (88) degrees and Thirty (30) minutes East for a distance of Four Hundred Fifty-five (455) feet, more or less, and to the land of Frank A. Love; thence running North One (1) degree Thirty (30) minutes West over and along the West line of the said real estate of Frank A. Love for a distance of One Hundred (100) feet; thence running North Eighty-eight (88) degrees and Thirty (30) minutes West for a distance of Four Hundred Forty-three and Seventy-six Hundredths (443.76) feet and to the place of beginning. Containing in all One and Three Hundredths (1.03) acres, more or less. Parcel ID No.: 53-04-14-200-073.000-013.
TRACT 2:
A part of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section Fourteen (14), Township Nine ( 9) North, Range Two ( 2) West, described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point in the centerline of Lake View Drive (a public right-of-way running through said quarter quarter section, more fully described and dedicated to public use in a certain Warranty Deed dated August 6, 19052, and recorded August 19, 1952 in Deed Record 112, page 237 in the office of the Recorder of Monroe County, Indiana) 303.5 feet North of the intersection of the centerline of said Lake View Drive and the North right-of way line of State Road #46; thence East for a distance of 463 feet to a point; thence running North for a distance of 95 feet parallel with the centerline of said Lake View Drive and to a point; thence West for a distance of 460 feet to a point in the centerline of said Lake View Drive; thence South over and along the centerline of said Lake View Drive 95 feet to the place of beginning. Containing in all One (1) acre, more or less. Parcel ID: 53-04-14-200-071.000-013.
Interested persons desiring to present their views upon said request, either verbally or in writing, will be given the opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place. Written suggestions or objections to provisions of said request may be submitted to the Ellettsville Planning Department prior to 11:00 a.m. on the day of the hearing. The hearing may be continued from time to time as necessary.
