THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO: The heirs, executors, administrators, devisees, trustees and assigns, immediate and remote, of WILLIAM VANN, a restricted 5/8th blood Cherokee Indian, Roll No. 3091; the Unknown Successors of WILLIAM MORRIS VANN, Deceased; the Unknown Successors of GRADY JACKSON VANN, Deceased; and the Unknown Successors of RUTH ANN VANN, aka RUTH ANN DAY, Deceased. You and each of you are hereby notified that you have been sued in the District Court of Washington County, State of Oklahoma, in the above entitled cause wherein John R. McGinley, III, as Trustee of the Catherine A. McGinley Children’s Trust dated June 18, 2009, is Plaintiff and you, and each of you, are Defendants, and in which said action Plaintiff seeks to quiet his title in and to the following described real property, to-wit:
The Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SE/4 SW/4 SE/4) of Section 31, Township 24 North, Range 14 East of the Indian Base and Meridian, Washington County, State of Oklahoma, according to the United States Government Survey thereof.
to judicially determine the heirship of William Vann, a restricted 5/8th blood Cherokee Indian, Roll No. 3091.
You are further notified that you must answer said Petition of the Plaintiff on or before the 15th day of November, 2025, or said Petition will be taken as true and judgment rendered for the Plaintiff accordingly, determining the heirs of William Vann, a restricted 5/8th blood Cherokee Indian, Roll No. 3091, and quieting the Plaintiff’s title in and to said premises and excluding you, and each of you, from any right, title, interest, estate or lien therein, and for other and further relief that the Court may deem just and proper.
