Public Comment Meeting Proposed Expansion and Modernization of the Land Port of Entry in Norton, Vermont The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) to analyze the potential environmental impacts from the proposed modernization project at the Land Port of Entry (LPOE) located in Norton, Vermont. The proposed project would allow the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to more efficiently carry out its agency mission at the international border crossing between Norton, Vermont and Stanhope, Quebec. GSA is hosting a public meeting to provide project information, and to obtain comments on the proposed project and the Draft EA on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET at: Norton Town Office 12 VT-114 East Norton, VT 05907 The meeting may be attended virtually via Zoom.
