Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the @district.taxingAuthority.name of Rural Scioto Fire District of @district.cityOrVillage, Ohio, passed on the 9th day of December, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be an additional tax for the benefit of Rural Scioto Fire District for the purpose of fire and emergency medical services at a rate not exceeding 2.95 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $103 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $445,147. The polls for the election will open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
