CITY OF GLOUCESTER PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD
NOTICE OF APPROVAL
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Gloucester has granted Meridia Gloucester City 101, Urban Renewal, LLC ("Applicant") preliminary and final major site plan approval and minor subdivision approval in connection with property having a street address of 101 South King Street (County Route 631), City of Gloucester, County of Camden, State of New Jersey, and designated as Block 48, Lots 2, 2.01 and 2.02, on the City of Gloucester Tax Map (the "Property") to subdivide the Property so as to reconfigure the lot lines of the three (3) existing lots. As a result of the subdivision, Lot A will measure approximately two-point-twenty-four (2.24) acres in area ("Lot A"), Lot B will measure approximately two-point-nineteen (2.19) acres in area ("Lot B"), and Lot C will measure approximately two-point-twenty-one (2.21) acres in area ("Lot C"). Further, Applicant received approval to construct the following: (i) a seven (7) story mixed-use building on Lot A consisting of two hundred forty-seven (247) apartment units, two thousand (2,000) square feet of commercial space, and three thousand four hundred (3,400) square feet of waterfront restaurant space; and (ii) an eight (8) story building on Lot B, consisting of one hundred seventeen (117) apartment units on the top five (5) stories, two hundred ninety-two (292) mechanical parking spaces on the third (3rd) story, and one hundred fifty-two (152) parking spaces on the bottom two (2) stories. Lot C shall remain improved with the existing three (3) story office building. Related site improvements on Lot A, Lot B, and Lot C include, but are not limited to, parking, lighting, landscaping, signage, and stormwater management facilities.
The approval was granted by the Board at the public hearing on February 18, 2026, and memorialized by a written Resolution adopted by said Board on March 18, 2026.
Copies of the approved plans and the Resolution of Approval are on file and available for inspection during regular business hours in the Office of the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Gloucester, within the City of Gloucester Municipal Building, located at 512 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, New Jersey 08030, during regular business hours.
