Ashley Gerkin and Thomas Risalvato III were married March 28 at the Apalachicola Ice Company. The groom's grandfather Rev. Kenneth Taglauer officiated. The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Kristy Gerkin and bridesmaid was the groom's sister, Anna-Katherine Risalvato. The co-best men were the groom's brother, Rhett Risalvato and cousin, Cody Risalvato. The flower girls were the groom's nieces, Alanna Taglauer Khan, Harper and Olivia Risalvato and the bride's friend, Camille West.
The bride is the daughter of Dana and Chris Gerkin of Panama City Beach and granddaughter of Sherrie Lee, the late Steve Gerkin, Pam and Dan Gutierrez and the late Charles Black.
The groom is the son of Sarah and Thomas Risalvato II of Panama City Beach and grandson of Helene and Kenneth Taglauer, the late Elizabeth Hutchison Risalvato and Kimberly and Thomas Risalvato I.
The bride is a graduate of Arnold High School, University of Central Florida and University of St. Augustine. She is pursuing physical therapy.
The groom is a graduate of Arnold High School and Florida Polytechnic University. He is employed with the State of Florida at the Florida Turnpike Headquarters.
After a honeymoon in St Petersburg Beach, the couple will reside in Orlando.
