Bid Submission Deadline: Friday, April 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM
Location of Bid Opening: Sturgeon City Hall, 303 E. Station St, Sturgeon, MO 65284
1. Scope of Work
The City of Sturgeon is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the complete demolition and site clearance of three (3) commercial structures located at 112 and 114 N. Ogden Street. The project includes:
Full structural demolition and debris removal.
Removal of all concrete footings, foundations, and floor slabs. (leave loading dock)
Backfilling and professional leveling of the site to match existing grade.
Strict adherence to safeguarding public sidewalks and adjacent infrastructure.
2. Mandatory Conditions & Requirements
On-Site Consultation: A pre-bid site consultation is highly recommended for all bidders to evaluate structural commonalities and site constraints. Please contact John Gingerich at 573-687-3321 to schedule.
Insurance: Bidders must provide proof of General Liability Insurance in the amount of no less than $1,000,000.
Bonding: A performance bond may be required upon contract award.
3. Submission Instructions
Sealed bids must be clearly marked "BID: N. OGDEN DEMOLITION" and delivered to the City Clerk at City Hall. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the date and time specified above.
The City of Sturgeon reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the City.
