City of Van Meter - PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORMWATER DISCHARGE PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORMWATER DISCHARGE The City of Van Meter plans to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to be covered under National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Stormwater General Permit No. 2 - Storm Water Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities. The stormwater discharge will be from construction of a new multiuse trail. The stormwater discharge will be located in NE 1/4 section of Section 27, Township 78, Range 27 more generally the western Right of Way of Richland Road from F90 to VM High School. Stormwater will be discharged to the following receiving streams: Racoon River.
