Carol and Bruce Jolley will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 5th. Longtime residents of Springfield, they began their life together after their 1976 marriage at the Salt Lake City, Utah, temple.
As devoted servant leaders in their church and community, they enjoy spending their time helping others and staying connected with their family and friends. Together they served an 18-month mission in Vanuatu and continue their active service in the church today.
Bruce retired from the Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads after 48-1/2 years of dedicated service. He now enjoys his early-morning walks, working in his yard, and serving those in need. Carol closed her in-home daycare after 22 years and stays busy chasing her grandkids, studying church and family history, and donating her time however she can.
After raising eight kids of their own, Carol and Bruce now enjoy their 27 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
