Notice is given that the Board of Public Works of the City of Evansville, Indiana has adopted a preliminary resolution for certain sidewalks and curb ramp improvements along property described as follows: (Property Owner: Address; Legal Description, Tax Code): Joshua A. The Board of Public Works will hold a public hearing on the final adoption of a Preliminary Resolution for a Barrett Law sidewalk and curb improvement project for above described lots and addresses.The Board of Public Works will make a determination whether the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for the improvement will equal the estimated cost of the improvement. The proposed maximum project cost is $160,000 with the City to pay 75% or 50% of the project cost and the owners of lots to be assessed to pay 25% or 50% of the individual project cost depending on the date their petition was received and 100% if driveway tie-in, walkout tie-in, and downspout modification costs. The individual cost of the project may be lower than the maximum estimated cost. The hearing will be held in Room 301, Civic Center Complex, 1 N.W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Evansville, Indiana at 1:30 P.M. on April 9th, 2026 at which time and place the Board of Public Works will hear and receive all the remonstrances and comments on the proposed resolution and project.
