SECTION 00100 INVITATION TO BID   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cascade County Board of Commissioners, and Cascade County Public Works, will receive sealed bids for the construction of Cascade County Annex Re-Roof, located at 325 2nd Ave N, Great Falls, MT. Mandatory attendance at the pre-bid conference will be required and will occur at 10:00 am on Monday April 20, 2026. All interested contractors are required to attend or they will not be allowed to bid the project.   The project consists of: Demolition of the existing roof membrane and recovery board and the installation of new HD board and fully adhered EPDM membrane. Repairs to the drains will be made in addition to some additional sloped insulation to provide proper drainage. Late bids will be returned unopened.   CONTRACTORS and any of the CONTRACTORS’ subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. CONTRACTOR is not required to have registered with the DLI prior to bidding on this project but must have registered prior to execution of the Construction Agreement. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.   Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond payable to Cascade County Public Works Department, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
