TOWN OF FOREST Fond du Lac County, WI NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS AND CREATION OF ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING "CLASS B" LICENSEES TO SELL INTOXICATING LIQUOR IN ORIGINAL PACKAGES PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 21st day of January, 2026, the Town of Forest, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, adopted an Amendment to the Town of Forest's Zoning Ordinance Regarding Solar Energy Systems, which includes the creation of Section 11.B.7.h. and created an ordinance authorizing "Class B" alcohol license holders to sell intoxicating liquor in original packages or containers for off-premises consumption. Included in the Zoning Amendment regarding Solar Energy Systems are the following topics within that Section: Section 1 - Purpose Section 2 - Definitions Section 3 - Permit Required Section 4 - Application Section 5 - Review of Solar Energy System Permit Application Section 6 - Solar Energy System Restrictions Section 7 - Revocation PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Solar Energy Systems Permitting Ordinance contains penalties and forfeitures for violations of the various provisions. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that included in the creation of the "Class B" alcohol license holders ordinances was the following topic: a municipality may, by ordinance, elect to allow holders of "Class B" alcohol beverage licenses to also sell intoxicating liquor in the original package or container, in any quantity, to be consumed off the premises where sold. Interested parties may view a copy of the ordinances by contacting Sarah Loehr, Town Clerk, at clerk@tn.forest-fdl.wi.gov, to set up a time to view the ordinances at the Town Hall, N5739 County Road W, Mt.
