NOTICE Okaloosa County Commissioner Drew Palmer will host a public town hall meeting on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Destin–Fort Walton Beach Convention Center (1250 Miracle Strip Parkway SE, Fort Walton Beach). The meeting will focus on the future development of a 4-acre waterfront parcel on Holiday Isle that was recently purchased by the State of Florida for use as a public park. County staff will give a brief presentation on the proposed plans, followed by an opportunity for community members to share their input, ideas, and concerns. The City of Destin invites residents to take part in this important discussion.
