LIFT STATION 15 IMPROVEMENTS
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Lift Station 15 Improvements will be received by the Crestview City Council at city hall located at 198 N. Wilson Street, Crestview, FL, until 10:00 a.m. local time on Monday, October 27, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be "publicly" opened and read. This project involves constructing a replacement lift station for the existing lift station 15 located on Campbell Street. This will involve the installation of a new lift station, removal of the existing lift station 15 pumps, construction of 2 Doghouse manholes, installation of approximately 60 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer, removal of the existing concrete lift station pad, construction of a new +/-269 S.F. concrete pad. The existing wet well is to remain and be interconnected to the proposed wet well. The new lift station discharge will connect into the existing 4" force main onsite. The existing lift station will remain in service until the new lift station can be placed into service. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis and awarded based on the lump sum of the unit prices.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Thursdays between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Fridays between the hours of 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Official Bid Documents are available online through Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. For assistance with the electronic bidding process, please contact Central Bidding at 225-810-4814.
Bidding Documents may also be obtained directly from the Engineer of Record's Office during regular business hours. Documents are available in PDF format and may be emailed free of charge upon request. Alternatively, printed copies may be obtained in person or by mail upon receipt of payment. The non-refundable cost for printed Bidding Documents is $150 per set, payable to "Seaside Engineering and Surveying, LLC", plus a non-refundable shipping charge. Shipping costs vary based on the delivery method selected by the prospective bidder.
The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the date of receipt for the bidder. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be provided by the Issuing Office. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be held responsible for full or partial sets of documents, including any Addenda, that are obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
