Notice of Proposed Bank Purchase and Assumption Transaction Notice is hereby given that Citizens Bank & Trust, headquartered in Guntersville, Alabama, and Family Savings Credit Union, headquartered in Rainbow City, Alabama, have filed an Interagency Bank Merger Act Application with the Atlanta Regional Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for its written consent for Family Savings Credit Union to acquire all of the assets and assume substantially all of the liabilities (including all deposit liabilities) of the Citizens Bank & Trust branches located at 25530 Alabama Highway 127, Elkmont, Alabama 35620 and 1565 Lee Street, Rogersville, Alabama 35652. It is contemplated that all offices of Citizens Bank & Trust will continue to be operated following the transaction (other than the Elkmont branch and Rogersville branch which will become branches of Family Savings Credit Union). Any person wishing to comment on this application may file his or her comments in writing with the Regional Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at its Atlanta Regional Office, 10 Tenth Street, NE, Suite 900, Atlanta, Georgia 30309, not later than May 1, 2026. The non-confidential portions of the application are on file at the Atlanta, Georgia Regional Office of the FDIC and are available for public inspection during regular business hours.
