REQUEST FOR ANNUAL
PROFESSIONAL MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, AND PLUMBING
(MEP) ENGINEERING SERVICES
FOR FUTURE PROJECTS
The School Board of Alachua County, Florida will require annual professional Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering services. The scope of these services will consist of furnishing all documents for the planning, estimating, budgeting, and construction of proposed projects including all construction documents. Competitive bidding of the project, observation of the project during construction, and submission of all required documents to any governmental agency may be required.
This contract term will be one year with two additional one-year renewable options.
Firms wishing to be considered for performing these services and who are licensed in the State of Florida should submit the following information to:

All firms interested must submit 5 copies of the following information no later than 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
1) Letter of interest for the project
2) Standard Form 330
3) Summary of the firm's current work load and proposed consultants'
work load
4) Proof of professional liability insurance (minimum $1,000,000
coverage)
5) General Liability* (minimum $1,000,000 coverage)
*The School Board of Alachua County shall be named as an
additional insured
6) Automobile Liability
a. Bodily and Personal Injury (minimum $1,000,000 coverage)
b. Property Damage (minimum $1,000,000 coverage)
7) Workers’ Compensation
Workers’ Compensation shall be in accordance with Chapter 440, F.S.
8) A copy of each applicable Florida professional registration (including all proposed consultants for these projects)
