Respite and Placement Homes Needed in Your Area!

Do you have room in your home for children? Are you currently not able to make a long-term commitment for placement of a child? Are you looking to make a difference in the life of a child? Here’s your opportunity! The Ho-Chunk Nation Child and Family Services is looking for respite care providers in your area! Respite care is short-term care (one day to two weeks) provided to children who are in out-of-home placement. Respite providers are reimbursed $50 per day per child and are also provided gift cards for food. For emergency respite, the respite rate may be increased. You do not have to be an enrolled tribal member to become a licensed Placement or Respite Home provider! All Respite and Placement Providers must complete a Federal Criminal Background Check.
