PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the City of Easley Planning Commission will hold a public meeting on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Easley Law Enforcement Center, located at 220 NW Main Street, Easley, South Carolina.
The following items will be considered:
Creation of a Civic (CV) Zoning District and the rezoning of various parcels throughout the City.
Rezoning of multiple parcels within the City to the Parks (PK) Zoning District.
Rezoning of 1098 S. Pendleton Street (TMS# 5018-08-98-1206) from GR-2 (General Residential) to GC (General Commercial).
Notice is also given that the City of Easley Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, located at 205 N. 1st Street, Easley, South Carolina.
The following cases will be considered:
PLN-VAR-26-01: 301 Oakfield Avenue (TMS# 5029-14-32-7826) – Request for a variance to reduce the required 30-foot side setback for a corner lot in the R-10 zoning district to approximately 15–17 feet to allow for an expansion of the existing primary structure.
PLN-VAR-26-02: 137 Cherokee Road (TMS# 5018-07-67-3919) – Request for a variance to increase the maximum permitted accessory structure size from 1,200 square feet to 2,100 square feet in the R-10 zoning district.
PLN-VAR-26-03: 104 Timberlane Drive (TMS# 5028-08-98-6873) – Request for a variance to increase the maximum permitted accessory structure size from 1,200 square feet to 1,404 square feet in the R-10 zoning district.
