Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Williamsport, as its duly constituted legislative body, that a Public Hearing will be held in Council Chambers, Town Hall, on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 6:00 P.M. The hearings are being scheduled pursuant to the provisions of the Annotated Code of Maryland and the Charter of the Town of Williamsport. The Public Hearing is to hear a request for the consideration of a Zoning Classification Change for the properties located at 101, 105, 109, 110 & 113 Sunset Avenue from Neighborhood Commercial and Suburban Residential to General Commercial. The regular Mayor & Council meeting will immediately follow the Public Hearing. A copy of the requests are on file in the Office of the Town Manager, Town Hall, Williamsport, Maryland. Same may be copied or inspected in that office and same are incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof. Pursuant to the Maryland Open Meetings Law, notice is hereby given that the deliberations of the Mayor and Council are open to the public. The intent is that the determination for introduction will be made at the Meeting of the Mayor & Council to be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 or at a later date if deemed appropriate. Any written comments prior to the Public Hearing submitted by 12:00 P.M., Friday, October 3, 2025, will be made part of the Record of the Public Hearing.
