All projects funded by the Local Governments and Rural Water Systems Improvements Board (Board) under the Drinking Water Systems Improvements Revolving Loan Fund (DWSIRLF) undergo a review to determine whether the proposed project will have a significant impact on the environment. In making this determination, it is assumed that all of the facilities and actions recommended in the facilities plan will be implemented. The facilities plan for this project is “Facilities Plan” dated June 2026 by Clearpoint Engineers.
The proposed project includes the replacement of approximately 22,800 linear feet of 6” water line, installation of 18,000 linear feet of 4” water line, a new 100 gpm booster station, and all related appurtenances. The location of the proposed project is along Hwy 49, Hwy 42, and Lott Town Road.
The Board has determined that the proposed project meets the criteria for receiving a categorical exclusion from further environmental review. However, this determination can be revoked if significant adverse information becomes available.
