NOTICE At the committee of the whole meeting of the South Western School District Board of Directors held Monday, May 4, 2026, at the South Western School District, 225 Bowman Road, Hanover, Pennsylvania, the 2026-2027 School District budget was tentatively approved, with expenditures of $103,457,074. The budget calls for 24.41 mills of real estate tax, Act 511 Taxes of ½ percent wage and earned income tax, and ½ percent real estate transfer tax. All are existing taxes. The budget will be open for public inspection daily at the district administration office, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until final adoption at the regular planning meeting of the school board on Wednesday, June 10, 6:30 p.m. to be held in the administration office located at 225 Bowman Road, Hanover, Pennsylvania.
