Notification for Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that the Jefferson Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Jefferson Township Municipal Bldg., 487 Cortez Road, Jefferson Township, PA 18436. The purpose is to consider public comments on Ordinance 1 of 2026 authorizing the recovery of emergency response costs incurred by the Jefferson Twp. Volunteer Fire Co.
A copy of the proposed ordinance can be found online at jeffersontwplackawanna.gov or can be examined during business hours, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. at the Municipal Building.
Notice is further given that the Jefferson Township Board of Supervisors shall consider the enactment of the proposed Ordinance 1 of 2026, at the regular monthly business meeting July 13, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
