ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed Bids for the Spring Brook Township Ammonia Removal Project including but not limited to: construction and installation of Nitrox Ammonia Removal System, installation of equipment building, recirculation pumps and sanitary sewer pipe installation, manholes, valve vaults, connections to the existing wastewater treatment plant facilities, and associated appurtenances for a complete in place ammonia removal system at the Spring Brook Township Sewer Authority Wastewater Treatment Plant will be received by: Spring Brook Township Sewer Authority 966 State Route 307, Spring Brook Township, PA 18444 Mailing address: P.O. Box 1100, Moscow, PA 18444 Until 1:00 PM prevailing time, May 13, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 7:00 PM prevailing time on May 13, 2026, at the Spring Brook Township Building, 966 State Route 307, Spring Brook Township, Pennsylvania 18444. The Bids will be received for the following Contract: SPRING BROOK TOWNSHIP SEWER AUTHORITY AMMONIA REMOVAL PROJECT Prospective Bidders may receive copies of the Bid Documents in electronic format from the offices of ARM Group LLC, 1129 West Governor Road, P.O Box 797, Hershey, PA 17033-0797, upon request to bbonner@armgroup.net. When requesting documents, please provide Bidder's name, street mailing address, telephone number, and email address. Only Bidders receiving a full set of Documents through the Engineer will be on record to receive Addenda. A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Spring Brook Township Sewer Authority in the amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid amount must be submitted with the Bid as Bid security. All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Spring Brook Township Sewer Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to refuse any, any combination, or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in Bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder. NONDISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT. The Bidders shall not, by reason of gender, race, creed, or color, discriminate against any citizen of this Commonwealth who is qualified and available to perform the work to which the employment relates. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors are explained in the specifications. A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for all prospective Bidders on April 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM prevailing time, at the Spring Brook Township Sewer Authority Treatment Plant on Green Run Road Spring Brook Township, PA 18444. The meeting is non-mandatory. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his Bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval or another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
