Pamela Carlos made a motion to close public comment. Roland Aucoin seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed. Meeting minutes were presented for review. Roland Aucoin made a motion to accept meeting minutes of June 4, 2025 and June 9, 2025. Kirby Verret seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed. The year 2024 audit was presented by Ms. Ashley Waguespack from Martin and Pellegrin, CPAs office. Roland Aucoin made a motion to accept the audit for the year 2024. Kirby Verret seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed. General Ledger, Budget to Actual Financial Statements and listing of invoices paid for the month was presented for review. Roland Aucoin made a motion to approve the Accountant's report. Pamela Carlos seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed. There was discussion of the new appraisals on the surplus building and land located at 6119 & 6129 Grand Caillou Road. Roland Aucoin made a motion to go out for bids on the following surplus items with the new appraisals. Pamela Carlos seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed. There was discussion of the possible purchasing of land located at 4731 Grand Caillou Road. Kirby Verret made a motion to approve the purchase of the land located at 4731 Grand Caillou Road in the amount of thirty five thousand five hundred dollars ($35,500.00). Pamela Carlos seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed. There was discussion of beginning cost of living annual raises after the first year of employment instead of the third year. Roland Aucoin made a motion to authorize beginning cost of living annual raises of two percent after the first year of employment. Pamela Carlos seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
