NOTICE OF ORDER TO DEMOLISH & HEARING
The City of Indianapolis, Dept. of Business & Neighborhood Services, has issued an order under Indiana's Unsafe Building Law (Ind. Code 36-7-9) requiring demolition of the structures listed herein. An administrative hearing regarding the order will be held on May 27th, 2026 at the time indicated below, in Room 221 of the City-County Building at 200 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46204.
Notice is hereby given to any party with a known or recorded substantial interest in the following properties:

Any party with a known or recorded substantial interest in the property is entitled to appear at the hearing with or without legal counsel, present evidence, cross-examine opposing witnesses, and present arguments. If the order is not complied with by the hearing date, the hearing authority may affirm, modify, or rescind the order. If the hearing authority affirms the order, the City may take action to accomplish the demolition. If the City takes action to demolish the structure, each person who held a fee interest, life estate interest, or equitable interest of a contract purchaser in the unsafe premises from the time when the order requiring the work performed was issued to the time that the work was completed, or, if emergency action was taken under IC 36-7-9-12, during the time of such emergency action, is jointly and severally responsible for the costs incurred by the City. If a party to whom this notice is issued fails to appear, the matter will be determined in their absence.
