The Athenaeum Foundation, hereinafter referred to as "Owner", is inviting all interested qualified bidders to submit a bid for the above-mentioned project. The following information is presented to prospective bidders.
A. Project Information

2. Project Description:
The work consists of brick masonry replacement, repointing and cleaning, as well as repairs limestone and gate refurbishment.
B. Bidding Documents

Addendum.
2. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted.
E. Initiation and Completion of the Work
1. Contingent upon execution of the construction agreement, the Owner will authorize the Contractor to begin work.
2. Substantial Completion of the Work shall be no later than Friday, August 28, 2026.
F. Required Federal Language
1. This project is funded in part by a grant from the National Park Service's Historic
Preservation Fund Program administered by the Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations is required, including: federal and state audit requirements, prohibition on lobbying activities, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, the National Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Lead-Based Paint Poisoning Prevention Act, the Architectural Barriers Act, and Executive Orders and Department of Labor regulations regarding Equal Employment Opportunity.
G. Additional Information
All contractors participating in projects receiving federal assistance must take the necessary steps to insure themselves and their personnel, and to comply with the applicable local, state, or federal safety standards including those issued pursuant to the National Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids. Bids may be held for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and the investigation of the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. It is anticipated, however, that the project will be awarded on or before May 8, 2026.
