Total estimated value $2,500.00.

Location of initial seizure: 1125 N Dodge Street, Iowa City, IA 52245.
Date seized for forfeiture: 2/4/26
Notice of pending forfeiture was served upon all parties more than thirty days prior to entry of this declaration. No proper claim or petition which complies with Iowa Code Section 809A.11 has been filed.
As Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, I declare the property forfeited to the State of Iowa pursuant to Section 809A.16(1) of the Code of Iowa. All rights of the listed parties to the property are terminated and title to the property vests in the State of Iowa as of the date of seizure.
The property is allocated under the provisions of Iowa Code Section 809A.17 as follows:
A portion of the forfeited property is a weapon or ammunition. The seizing agency is ordered
to maintain possession of it until it is no longer needed as evidence and then to deliver it to the
Department of Public Safety as required by § 809A.17(5)(b) of the Code.
It is important to note that under Iowa Code Section 809A.16(2) an owner or interest holder shall have 180 days to petition the court to set aside the forfeiture.
The undersigned prosecutor, being duly sworn, states that the estimated value of property being forfeited in this action is $5,000.00 or less.
