Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) issues this request for proposals (RFP) from qualified business entities for Solid Waste Management Services at the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN).
JMAA will hold a non-mandatory Pre-Submission Conference on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time in the Community Room, 3rd Floor Mezzanine Level, at the Main Terminal Building at the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport, 100 International Drive, Jackson, MS 39208.
Sealed proposals for completing the work identified in this RFP will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. (CT) Thursday, July 30, 2026.
Proposals must be submitted electronically via the website noted below, by mail, or delivered by hand.

JMAA will not consider any Proposals received after the Deadline. Information for Respondents relating to this RFP is on file and open for public inspection at the offices of JMAA. The Information for Respondents contains a copy of the RFP, General Information for Respondents, Information Required from Respondents and Criteria for Selection. Interested persons may obtain a copy from www.jmaabids.com.
JMAA will publicly open and review submissions on 2:00 p.m. (CT) Thursday, July 30, 2026 in the Staff Conference Room, Third Floor of the Main Terminal Building at JAN. JMAA invites the general public to the proposal opening.
JMAA reserves the right to: (1) reject any and all Proposals, for any reason, and at any time before execution of a contract with a Respondent selected by JMAA to perform the Services.
Bidders must be licensed to perform work within the state of Mississippi.
