BEFORE THE STATE OIL AND GAS BOARD OF MISSISSIPPI RE: PETITION OF TELLUS OPERATING GROUP, LLC FOR AUTHORITY TO CONDUCT AN INJECTIVITY TEST USING THE TRENTON USA 6-7 WELL NO. 1 LOCATED IN SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 3 NORTH, RANGE 7 EAST, SMITH COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, IN TRENTON FIELD, AND OBTAIN RELATED RELIEF, DOCKET NO. 27-2026-D PUBLIC NOTICE To all owners, operators and persons interested in the Trenton Field in Smith County, Mississippi, including in the following described lands: In Section 6, Township 3 North, Range 7 East The East One-half; the Northwest One-quarter; the East One-half of the Southwest One-quarter; and the North One-half of the Northwest One-quarter of the Southwest One-quarter. In Section 7, Township 3 North, Range 7 East The North One-half of the Northeast One-quarter; and the Southeast One-quarter of the Northeast One-quarter. In Section 31, Township 4 North, Range 7 East The Southwest One-quarter; the West One-half of the Southeast One-quarter; and the South One-half of the Southeast One-quarter of the Southeast One-quarter. The above described tract is situated in Section 6 and 7, Township 3 North, Range 7 East, and Section 31, Township 4 North, Range 7 East, Smith County, Mississippi, and contains 978.5 acres, more or less. TAKE NOTICE that TELLUS OPERATING GROUP, LLC, Petitioner, has filed a Petition with the State Oil and Gas Board of Mississippi in the above-referenced docket requesting that the Board grant the following relief: Grant Petitioner an extension of the period of time and authority to use the Trenton USA 6-7 Well No. 1 (the "6-7 Well") to continue to conduct an injectivity test as part of Petitioner's work to determine the feasibility, efficiency and economics of a waterflood of the defined Cotton Valley Oil Pool in Trenton Field; allow such test to continue for an additional period of up to eighteen (18) months, at Petitioner's discretion; and grant such other relief as set forth in the Petition. The 6-7 Well which is located 2062 feet South of the North line and 1479 feet West of the East line of Section 6, Township 3 North, Range 7 East, Smith County, Mississippi, in the Trenton Field. The bottomhole location is 2303 feet South of the North line and 2613 feet West of the East line of Section 6, Township 3 North, Range 7 East, Smith County, Mississippi. The 6-7 Well has been drilled and completed in the defined Cotton Valley Oil Pool on a unit comprised of the above described 978.5 +/- acres. TAKE NOTICE that the above and foregoing matter will be heard at the regular January 2026 meeting of the Board to be held at 9:00 o'clock a.m. on January 21, 2026 at 500 Greymont Avenue, Suite E, Jackson, Mississippi 39202, at which time and place all interested parties may appear and contest said matter. If you intend to contest the docket or request a continuance, you must notify the Board and Petitioner's representative of your intention in writing not later than 5:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 (seven (7) days prior to the date stated above for the hearing). Failure to so notify the Board and Petitioner shall be a waiver of your right to contest or request continuance. You are advised that the Board may adopt orders concerning a petition which may differ from the relief requested by Petitioner, and the Board will enter such order or orders as in its judgment may be appropriate in accordance with the evidence presented.
