70th Wedding Anniversary Allan & Connie Scheurell

Allan and Connie Scheurell celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on May 5th, 2026. They were married on May 5th, 1956, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manitowoc, with reception at Hilltop in Francis Creek. Soon after the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Scheurell lived on 14th Street in Manitowoc for many happy years. They raised 5 (wonderful!) children there, attending St. Boniface Church. Allan worked for many years at Mirro, while Connie worked part-time at Wellhoefer's, Left End, and full-time at home, caring for the home and raising their children. As the children started to leave the home, Connie and Al moved out to South 31st Street, Al working at CSI and Connie at Rustic Touch. While they had always travelled across the breadth of the United States for vacations and to visit their children, they travelled to Europe after retirement. They have spent many more happy years welcoming their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren back for (short!) visits. Mr. and Mrs. Scheurell celebrated their anniversary with a dinner hosted by their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at Harborside in Manitowoc.
